Cuban Roller Taboada down in TJ

I was going down to TJ tomorrow and I just heard that the famous Cuban roller Taboada will be at the La Casa Del Habano cigar store on Revolucion street downtown. His cigars are fantastic and pretty rare. I am definetly going to be checking it out. It will be awesome to watch this Legend work. Anybody want to meet me down at the border? Let me know. This is a very rare and unique opportunity and it should make for a fun day.

Maybe he'll bring some good leaf with him this year. The stuff he was rolling last year, in TJ, was really sub-par to what I was used to of his cigars.

Not to mention the controversy with fakes that was reported on one board. Just be sure you SEE him rolling them when you buy :thumbs:
 
Don't know if I'll have the money to buy a whole bundle but I'll see what I can do. I was going down originally to buy some meds. And I've been buying too many damn cigars lately so the wallet is a little thin. I heard that a bundle can cost as much as $600. :0 OUCH!! :(
 
Just had my first Taboada a few weeks ago and it was an outstanding cigar. Very unique flavor profile. I've heard this will be Taboada's swan song so get them while you can.
 
They were saying that Sr. Rodolfo would be retiring after last year's rolling event in TJ and you see that he is now back. I know for a fact that he will not be permanently retired, but may stop rolling at events, eventually. He has too many hi-profile private clients to stop completely. As long as his health holds out, he'll be blending and rolling.

Who is this roller? Never heard of him.

Last time I rolled to TJ I got pulled over in Capistrano doing 120+
on 2 wheels ??? ...and can you believe it she let me off..Whew!

Have fun in that dirty little town :p
