Here's goes my first cigar review... This cigar just plain looks intimidating. On the pre-light draw, the only thing I really noticed was the tight draw. Upon observation, I noticed that the tobacco was packed extremely tight on both ends of the cigar. For such a fat cigar, lighting it was relatively easy (I used matches). The first half inch or so was very mellow and simple, but then it started to change drastically. It started to pick up the complexity a little, and about a third of the way through it a peppery taste became very apparent. You could definitely tell this was a Nicaraguan puro. From about an inch in, the smoke was very warm, but never became "hot." The smoke was not very dense to the eyes, it tasted like it should have been. With about an inch and a half left, I really started to feel the nicotine. I hadn't been buzzed off a cigar this bad in quite a while. ...But that could be due to the fact that I was smoking in a dining room, with no ventilation, with four others. I did have to touch it up three times, but I was also smoking it pretty slow towards the end. Overall, I really enjoyed this cigar. Although it burned a little hot and the draw was a little tight, it had a great peppery taste and earthy aroma. I would recommend.
