Had my first cigar in weeks last night (no time since Katrina). My grandson was due yesterday and I was set for that Edicion De Silvio that’s reserved for his birth. Well, he has other plans apparently so I went with the Cuaba Salomone.

Fantastic!! A figurado, 7 ¼ with a large ring maybe a 55.

An unbelievably rich, velvety and creamy smoke.

A nubber.

Oh man...I have one of those resting in my humi right now...if it's real ;) , I'll definetly enjoy it. :sign:

Thanks for the review! I've often wondered about these Cuaba's. That Salamone is a huge cigar though, I don't usually like to go any bigger than a standard double corona.

When your half way done, it doesn't seem that big anymore. Go ahead and dive into this puppy, it is way worth it.

I bought a box of those two years ago, I have been letting them age and smoked the first one the other night, a week ago today. I was well underwhelmed. While it was certainly a good cigar, it did not have the depth of flavor I was expecting. I have a few left and will smoke another shortly and confirm my opinion. As of right now IMHO, they are not worth the $20 each I paid for them.

That's expensive.

Once I purchase a cigar, it doesn't have any $$ value, IMO. That money is done spent. If I were to be perplexed on the money I spent on my cigars, I don't think I would enjoy any of them...excpet the Swishers.

I don't think that a twenty would smoke very well, but I do know that a Cohiba would.
