Played a round of golf yesterday. It was breezy with winds in about 15-20 mph. Not exactly the ideal condition to smoke, but hey, golf and cigars go hand in hand.
This was my first smoke of the round. As most tapered shaped cigars go (Hemingways come to mind), the initial draw feels tight... until it burns away the tip and starts to open up. This one was no different. Once it got going, the flavor was exceptional. By no means a full bodied smoke, but definitely smack dab in the middle of medium bodied. It's unfortunate I had to set this down everytime I had to go hit... or go find my ball... but it stayed lit. A couple of relights to help smooth out the burn. Again, that wind wrecked havoc on the experience.
Overall- 8.5 out of 10. Probably would've been a lot higher if I actually got to sit down and enjoy the smoke instead of worry about breaking windows with my golf ball.
