Wife and I went on a cruise and I raided my humi to take just about my best to do a 3 a day habit while out on the water. All of these are from the fine and upstanding members here over the last 3 years. They were just perfect in each and every way.

Day 1
Don Carlos Presidente
El Rey Del Mundo Tainos (2002)
AVO 80th

Day 2
Padron 1926 #6
Shark (2004)
Ashton VSG Churchill (2004)
Montecristo "A" (2001)

Day 3
Davidoff #3 Anniversario
FFOX (2000) Amazing!
Montecristo #2 (2002)

Day 4
Gurkha Centurian XX
AVO LE 5
Cohiba EL 2004

Day 5
Graycliff Expresso
DC Maximus #5
Perdomo Edicion de Silvio Salomon en Cedro

Day 6
Padron 40th Maduro
Padron 40th Natural
Padron Millenium

Day 7
AVO LE 7
God of Fire Robusto (2005)
Taboda Churchill (2005)

Day 8
Ashton ESG
Bolivar robusto (2002)
Diamond Crown #1

Day 9
Unreleased Gurkha maduro
Padron 1926 #1
Camacho Amendment XII

Day 10
God Of Fire Double Robusto (2005)
Upmann Sir Winston
Opus X Double Corona (1996?)

I have to say I was skeptical about the Opus. Alpi57 had sent this to me back in August and claimed it was 10 years old. I have never had an Opus that smelled or tasted the way this one did. Easily one of the top 10 cigars I have ever smoked. So alpi57 if you are still out there and read this you have my most humble thanks for providing this outstanding cigar.

Day 11
Juan Lopaz #1 (2000)
Punch Monarca (2003)
Juan Clemente Giagante (2002)

Day 12
Gurkha Aged Cameroon (2002)
Davidoff N1 (I want to say 1986 but the sender didn't specify)

There are only a few folks on this forum who have or could get these and I have no Idea why I was sent one last year. Whomever you are this was a seriously great cigar and a fitting end to my "Cigar Cruise". Another top 10 smoke in my book.

Now back to my normal mediocre 1 a day :0 It was great while it lasted.

Wow AVB... great smokes for a nice vacation. Glad you got to enjoy them.

BTW Welcome back.

Sounds like you had a good time man. Welcome back. I recently tried a scotch you haven't reviewed yet. Speyburn 10yo. Pretty good stuff.

True, I haven't reviewed it yet but I have mentioned it and it will show up at some point.

That's a hellava line up you had there AVB, well done!

Nice job, I like Day's 2 and 6.

Day 4 looks awesome too.

So AVB where did you cruise to and did the port you were in have anything to do with the cigars you smoked? How did you decide what to mix on each day or was it "let's just reach into the ole travel hummi and smoke whatever I pick up"?

What cruise line were you on and where did you go. We love cruising and some lines are more accomadating than others. I had a fantastic time on Celebrity cruise during the summer and enjoyed some nice company out on the fantail each night for a evening smoke or two.

Day 2 looks awesome just curious was that a "day at sea" day LOL

Now that is what I would call a vacation. Sounds like a great time.

Welcome back!

We took an RC cruise and where we went had nothing to do with what I smoked. The only day really planned was the Padron day and the the Davidoff for the last day. Except for that it was just reach in and see what looked good. I was planning on a Hemingway Classic for Key West but I forgot it and never did get to that stick.

We left Baltimore and hit Miami, Key West, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Port Canaveral with the longest stops being in Mexico. The ship had a "Cigar Lounge" that was only open from 9-midnight but I still met a few folks. The early smokes were either on deck 5 or on the beach somewhere :)

I was tempted to get a few glass topped & tubed Cohiba 5 packs, especially when the price went down from $125 to $10 but I thought you folks would just get jealous

Day 2 was a full Sea day.

Sounds like a hell of a time. Glad you enjoyed it brother. Gearing up to do two weeks (15 days really) in December, but chartered a 57' cat for the USVIs and BVIs. So, will be doing PLENTY of smoking during that time myself, along with whatever else I pick up down there at some of my reputable haunts. Can't wait.

Congrats again...and welcome back.

Hummmm. Multitasking at it's finest. Smoke and walk, smoke and shop, smoke and lay at the beach. I somehow fit it in ;)

Did you have time to do anything else other than smoke :p

I think your travel humidor is bigger than my whole set-up Ray

 Glad you had such a great Vacation!

I think cruisin is a great way to vacation! Unpack your bags once put the wallet in the safe and let people feed you and wait on you 24/7. Now how can you beat that...

Sounds like a great time with a bunch of great smokes.
Hope they had some good scotch out there to go with those smokes. :p
