Coronado by La flor

Hi! I just want to ask if anybody ever had Coronado by La Flor double corona? It has been on CA top 25 for 2006 and its rated 93.I think its pretty hard to find. I did check several cigar shops and have not found them,also cigar websites sell only full boxes.Please let me know if these are really worth 93 rating,im very sceptical about CA ratings.

I liked the Coronado, but I prefer the Ligero. One of my all time favs is the Factory Press Limitado. If you are looking for Coronados, I still have some in stock.

I think they are all about power. I don't remember anything else about them. The flavor wasn't memorable. I wouldn't give it a 93 rating. Some people like them, so you never know.

The corona, even though it is actually a lot larger than a true corona IIRC, was the best for me. The larger sizes were very powerful and had a lot of spice, but were not balanced at all. The corona was excellent, one of the better LFD cigars I have had and I like a lot of his stuff :love:

That's the problem I have with CA ratings...based on ad revenue

I like these. The DC is my favorite because I don't generally like cigars over a 50 ring gauge. I believe Serious Cigars has singles for a good price. I think they taste more like the Litto Gomez line but that's just me.

Coronado is on my top 25 cigar list. By the way, Search is your friend. There are 4 threads with "Coronado" in the title, all reviews, I think.

Yes, I'm convinced CA's reviews are partial to advertisers.

The DC is a great stick. I've had uneven burn issues here and there, but overall a great buy.

I split a box when that rating came out. I thought they were just an OK cigar. Not a "93" I still have some that have some age on them, perhaps I should revisit them.

Check Jack Schwartz in downtown Chicago, they're in the Chicago Board of Trade building. They have them and you can buy singles...
