so this is it... I have now commited to the idea of actually buying a cooler to put into my closet. Yeap... I have been infected- Oh well. In my travels I saw the above and wondered if that indeed could work..

actually seriously I like this model, it's got a bottle holder that I can just see a nice bottle of wine in :)

Kind of a cool looking cooler, but you are going to end up wishing you went bigger.

Indeed, thanks to the generosty of Shiba, I got a starter humidor...
Which in two or three weeks is now packed to the brim and If I smoked it all up it would prolly take me more than a few days...lol I prolly would end up walkin funny too-
aside from that I still have cigars that I want to purchase in boxes as well- I have found 2 that I definately want to do. Hence there is a need for a fridge now-

Fair enough! I know how that feels. Nine months ago I bought a 30-count humidor thinking there was no way I'd ever fill it up. Within a couple months I had that and a tupperware container of roughly the same size filled up...and then it was on to one 2 gallon tupperware container. And soon it will probably be on to a cooler as well.

Yes indeed!

and I will certainly take pics for all of you to see :)  of the cigars and set up of course :)

I bought this set up for a friend. Even with the cheeze shakers it only came to about $12. It will hold anywhere from 6 to 10 boxes. I used those gel crystals in the shakers, they will keep the RH right at 70%. A very economical way to store cigars.

That little fridge set up, either one, looks like it will cost well over $100.

Just my $0.02 :)

I use a couple small drom size fridge's for my humi's.

They work great with a Cigar Oasis for humidification. I picked them up used and removed the refigeration unit and used cigar boxes to line the inside.

Thats the same cooler that I started with, sitll using it to this day. It does a great job of holding RH, probably better than my 300 ct humi.

I do believe that the " cooler" idea is more economical, bt, in the long run I would like to make just one investment as to the KEEPING of my boxes-
