I will be in New London/Groton the 6th through the 12th of March. I am guessing the only day people would be able to herf would be the Friday or Saturday. I will be flying out Saturday (hopefully). As I know more I will post more info. One other thisng, I wont have a car while I am up there.

No car in Connecticut is like no go. Other end of the state from me, but it's a small state, and the casinos are good for a herf.

We GOTTA go to one of the casinos, Mohegan Sun is my preference.

I'll be in touch, hell, I'll pick you up in New London, I'm only 35 minutes from there ;)

Weekends are busy at the casinos so I'd suggest that we get an early start in the afternoon.

Actually, it you can find an evening early in the week, that'd work too.

Keep us updated as I can make the time ;)

During the week actually works best for me. We usually get done by 4 PM in the afternoon. Are there any trains that could put me up by you's guys?

This ain't no Miami Emo. Again, I wouldn't bother since the only places to go are the casinos and if you're in New London, you're only about 15 to 20 minutes away from them.

Like I said, it would be easiest for me to just come down to New London and pick you up. :thumbs: ;)
 
Emo and I are looking to get together at the Mohegan Sun on Thursday evening.

Well, I forgot to do a follow up here. Emo and I finally did get to meet up on Thursday, March 10th at the Mohegan Sun casino. Emo brought one of his fellow classmates (Tim) from the Coast Guard with him and the three of us had a GREAT time at the casino (we didn't gamble which was probably a GOOD thing since it wound up saving me a good deal on money :p ). I did make one $51.00 bet at the craps table on the way out, a lay against the ten for $50.00 (since the sevens were coming up about every third roll at this particular table :0 ) BUT just my luck, two rolls after I place the bet TEN HARD TEN, DOWN BEHIND so before I lost any MORE money, I sucked up my $51.00 loss and headed home :blush:

It's always nice to meet a fellow CPer in person, even though we'd never met before, it was like we'd known each other forever, we spent the whole night yakkin' about cigars, CigarPass, etc and had a heck of a lot of fun. The next thing I knew it, it was five hours later and they were calling "last call" at the bar :0

Emo was one of the first people I traded with here back in my novice days of Havanas so he's the one responsbile for sending me down my road of ruin :D

Emo, it was a pleasure and an honor to meet you in person and if any of you ever get the chance to sit down with Emo, don't pass it up ;) :thumbs:

We were talking about setting up something in Philly or DC in a few months, we'll keep y'all posted.
