The other night after dinner I decided to smoke a Comacho Corojo Torpedo that I had gotten about two months ago. The cigar wrapper was a dark brown color with no flaws or veins. A wonderful pre-light aroma. The draw was perfect, not too easy and not too hard. The cigar gave out plenty of smoke. As I started smoking it I immediately got hit with a nice burst of flavor that stayed all through the cigar. The burn was even for the entire smoke (had a nice steady breeze blowing on the deck which didn't cause any problems with the burn). I smoked it to the nub and was wishing for more.

This cigar is a full-flavored, full strength cigar which reminded me of some ISOMS I have smoked. Went great with a glass of port.

Sam, last week I smoked another one of the Comacho Corojo Belicosos that I had gotten back the end of July. It was better than the first one!

This one was smoother than the first one(amazing what an extra month or two of aging does) which really highlighted the flavors of the cigar. But the full-bodiness was still there.

Our local shop finally received the Camacho's. My first attempt was the robusto. Yummmm! This rascal is rolled beautifully and tight but the draw was perfect. My gosh the prelight aroma was wonderful. And the flavors...mmmm... another measure I have of a 'gar is how far down I can burn it and still enjoy it. Took it down to 1.5 inches where it became hot and lost its flavor.
And, OH did I mention the price is certainly right? :)

  2 Thumbs up for me.

I tried the Corojo Nacionales recently, and I thought it was a solid cigar. It started off really nice, but lost it a bit in the middle. I was about to give up on it when the good flavors finally kicked in again. I smoked it to a nub. Definately will pick up a few more of these. :D
