First ISOM I have had in years, I only got about an inch to go yet, what a fine smoke. Finding it difficult and laborsome........to......type with one hand.......mmmmmnnnnnnn

Wife is gonna kill me for firing this up in the house........it's definately worth it!

Enjoying this with an ice cold Leinenkugel Red,...........my wife God bless her is bringing me an order of " BBQ Dinasaur bones" from the Apple Orchard Inn in Romeo MI, late dinner bonus for me........fingers on fire right about now....Man, I thought you were supposed to have a smoke AFTER you were done, but jeez!

Thanks Vewyphishy for the Newbie Sampler Trade....I feel like some kind of burn-out. Gotta try some more of these!

Oh well, done all I can with this one, WOW!

Ahhhh, if you like that size the "Mareva" may I suggest the following (in this particular order):

SLR Petit Coronas
Sancho Panza Non Plus
Ramon Allones Petit Coronas
H Upmann Petit Coronas (HEY you can be like JFK  )

Other popular Marevas are:
Monte #4
Boli PC
Punch Coronation

but I'm not a big fan of any of the last three.

Well, usually the gars I like are in the Robusto/Beli/Torp size, but if they are this good, Im gonna have to rethink my strategy!

I'm with you, but I keep reading up on more of the smaller sizes and am trying to figure out how something that small, can be as good as a Robusto/Beli/Torp. CC, what's your opinion?

I am fast becoming a fan of Minutos (4 3/8 x 42) and Marevas (5 x 42).

Heck, now that I think about it, I like the 42 ring in almost any length, Corona (5 1/2), Corona Grande (6 1/8) and Cervantes (6 1/2). :)

I find that the smaller ring sizes have a slightly more "concentrated" flavor than the larger ring sizes. The main reason I like the Minutos is the short time (in my case 20 minutes) that it takes to smoke them.

I have never been a fan of robustos. I say, if you want a DC, then don't start with half of it already gone :p and I don't know what it is but I have NEVER liked the shape of a beli/torp/piramide. I just don't like how a pointy cigar feels in my mouth.

I'm not a fan of ring sizes less than 42 as anything much smaller than that seems to burn too hot.

With Minutos, you get lots of flavor packed in a nice size that doesn't take lots of time to smoke ;)

" BBQ Dinasaur bones"
Not to get off the subject of your obviously fine evening enjoying the smoke, but where the hell do you pick up those kinda bones. Out here in Mesa (phoenix), there are no good rib joints haha :sign: :sign:

Hard to believe that there aren't any good rib joints in Phoenix! Seems like a good place to bbq all year long, and I'm sure there's some dino's barried there somewhere :D
For those that don't know, BBQ Dinosaur Bones are the bones cut from the prime rib that they serve there. They baste them in sauce and then hit the grill for a few minutes. Came with a side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes (of course I spell "potatoes" with an E!).

For anyone in the Detroit area that might like to try them, they are found at the Apple Orchard Inn off of Vandyke north of 28 Mile Road in Romeo MI.
