Okay, let me start off by saying yum and yee-haw!

This lovely cigar was my smoke of choice on Sat. Night.
This weekend we hosted an Ultimate Frisbee tournament on campus.
Unlike other sports, we do not play one game a day, call our agents then go home to nap. We play 4-6 games a day, usually one right after another. we play hard [think soccer, but with a frisbee instead, lots of running] and then we party hard.

that said, after a great day of frisbee, it was time for a great cigar.
This one has been staring at me for the past 2 months or so, begging for a time to be smoked.

The cigar was a straight as an arrow, smooth wrapper of a light 1/2 coffee 1/2 milk["un bol du cafe au lait"]. I have to say I like the new size, not yet a churchill, but longer than a robusto, I have found the mid-way size for me!
it was filled all the way, no soft spots. the foot was a marble of colors.

the cut was by double blade, fantastic draw and then lit by matches.

This was one smoked to the last inch, any further and I would have needed a "roach-clip" :D .

Now not having smoked many Cohibas [Siglo Is, a III, an aged Robusto (thanks Emodex from a while ago)], cannot comment on the Cohiba taste, but from what MRN has written about the general taste, have to say this cigar was no exception.

There was nut, cream, a little tasty 'dessert' taste to it, as well as tons of smoke.
the flavors changed as I ssmoked thru it. at first it was a little off, but after about 5 puffs, it jumpd the gun with a Michael Johnson-like flash. This is not a cigar for the week-kneed, this is a man's cigar with a nice strength that creeps up on you. first you are sitting there enjoying the great taste, then you try to stand and realize your legs can no longer move. oh well, back to the cigar!
The two biggest things I noticed was the nut-cream flavor, creamy but also nutty and this wonderful tobacco taste that mixed well with all and had me wishing for more.

There was a partial relight, and an almost-straight burn the entire time.

hrm, interesting... I found the Siglo VI's I've had to be unusually sweet, and not nearly as interesting as some of the rest of the Cohiba line. Expensive as hell too, about $20 a stick.

you may be right in that, like I said, have had only a handfull of Cohibas so do not really have a grasp of their "flavor profile".

the cigar was not that sweet to me, more of a nutty cream [if that makes any sense]. it had an almost desert taste to it, but not a sweet one, more of a Greek/Turkish dessert [like Baklava or a cookie].
