Climmax Customer Service Question

Hello everyone,

As someone who is a very casual cigar smoker, I have been lurking here picking up tidbits of information to ensure I am making the most out of the cigars that I own. One of the things I have picked up on was how much everyone is raving about the Climmax humifier system. Since I was having some issues keeping my own humidor in line I decided to pick up one of the Premier Humidifers with the Climmax beads (65%) and a digital hygrometer at www.climmax.com. I love one stop shopping!

Anyway, I placed this order on the July 17th and have not recieved any of my order. I've emailed Climmax several times without a response. I am curious if they are still in business? As I understand it the owner frequents this board and I am hoping he will see this message and maybe I can get a response about my order.

Has anyone else had issues with long ship times with the Climmax company? I hope I've just been overlooked, but at this point I'm not sure if I should cancel the order or wait. I was really looking foreward to using their system to keep my cigars in line!
 
Vern is extremely busy and your best bet would be to call him. Call 888-254-6629 and have your information handy and I'm sure that Vern will be able to answer your questions. I know that I put in an order for 3 lbs of 65% Media and it depends on how fast he's able to have the media produced. And... Climmax isn't Vern's primary business but he does work extremely hard in trying to fill all the orders in a timely fashion.

I understand the 65% was on back order. I tried to get 2 pounds (in person) in July and it wasn't available. Vern didn't know when he would get more.
 
Hang in there Wallet, I just received an order from Vern earlier this week. It's definately worth the wait as most of the others here will attest to. Vern is a stand up guy and is just getting very busy right now. The demand for this product is obviously getting very high.

One thing I am learning though is to buy more than half a pound at a time, it doesn't go bad, and you always end up needing more :D Oh the humanity! Gotta get another coolerdor soon!

I had no idea the guy was a member here, how cool is that? :) I received my stuff in under a week from climmax, but I really wouldn't be surprised if there was a back-up in orders. ??? Post again when you try and give them a call, I wouldn't worry about them stiffing you at all. Funny thing is, my wife got my humidor from a company that is on the bad traders & scumbags list(bargainhumidors.com or something like that) Imagine if you sent your money to them and then found that out. :0
 
Guess I spoke too soon, and for that I apologize! Just this afternoon part of my order arrived! I am now a proud owner of the Premier kit. Although the digital hygrometer isn't in stock yet, Vern let me know that it would be arriving and he gave me a brass analog one to boot!

Vern left me a note with the package apologizing for the delay, and to let me know that the digital hygrometer should be coming in a week or two.

There ya go bud! I think your gonna like this set up. I just use the beads myself, but I'm sure the system is gonna rock as well! :D

Just to reiterate Cameroon's point, I've had no problems at all with the beads and just love them. You don't have to recharge them that much at all and they are worth every blessed penny. I knew things would work out just right in your situation. Glad to hear that things turned out--you'll have to post a picture of your wares sometime.

I don't have a whole lot as of yet. Most of these were gifts.

Vern is an ABSOLUTE stand-up guy! :D If ya don't have your stuff, it's because he doesn't have it. He has always invited calls if something isn't right. And usually winds up making up for it with something else.
