Cigars without a humidor

I have about 7 boxes and 5 packs of variety samplers coming my way. The problem is I ordered a 1200ct Humidor from cheaphumidors.com that was on back order. They say I should get it before the end of July.
Right now all I have is a 100ct desk top. What should I do?

They have other humidors in stock; they have glass tops and doors. I didn't order that one because I read here that they didn't hold the humidity very well.

I also order the Oasis humidifier for better control.

Coolidor for now would be the only suggestion I could come up with.

Cooler... you can be up and running today if need be. I suggest beads to control RH. Foam will get you through but doesnt do much to reduce excess humidity. But it would get you through in a pinch.

ok so nobody recommends just letting them sit until my humi gets here.

I was thinking that since they stay in a truck for weeks during shipping they might be ok for a couple extra but I guess I was wrong

I already looked at coolidor 101 and its a pretty easy setup.

probably don't even need to go to that trouble,
go to W**mart and buy that 30 quart they have every day for $20
put the sticks and boxes in and close it up, until the real humidor arrives
Those coolers seal like you would not believe..

if you are going to be opening it hour to check on the babies, then find
a bowl and beads or foam...

talk to me off line, and maybe I can do you even better on humi-xtals

I would probably give them my cigars and when I got back would find out they confiscated them for being illegal. ???

I will hang on to my stuff as tight as possible.

I set up a coolidor, I ordered Humi-Crystals and everything seems to be working great.
