I have most of mine in boxes, but i'm out of room for boxes (guess it's time for a bigger one), and have some, still in cellophane, in between the boxes, or where i have empty space. Is this a problem for the short term (a couple weeks)?

When I ran into this problem I bagged mine in heavy ply ziplock bags that hold five or six smokes depending on ring guage. You can either seal them or not, I prefer not to. I still have a bunch of smokes that I de-boxed in the old days. I keep em in handy five-packs.

Should be fine for long term as long as you aren't jostling them around too much.

mine sit on a cedar tray from an old humidor, in their respective cello's.

No.

If you have enough room, get a few of these:

I have 4 stacked in my 120 quart cooler.

Depends. If you're going to be going through your inventory often enough, you risk damaging singles. Boxes are easy to come by, so I'd say use one.

don't worry about those phillie blunts gator, you can just mail them to me :)
i leave my singles in my coolidor as long as its not moved alot to keep the cigars from getting damaged.

I gotta get a bigger (48 qt currently) coolidor, it's a pain in the ass having to dig down to the bottom. Wal Mart didn't have jack squat in bigger coolers. Got a few empty boxes today, and that coupled w/ a bigger cooler i should be good to go.

Where do you get the cedar trays?

Thanks for your help!

When I was using coolidors, I tried to keep all of my singles in cedar trays also. Didn't want to damage anything accidentally.

I have about four of these trays that have just been sitting around Frank. If you are interested PM me and I will send you a couple

I stick loose singles in a pile, and sure enough when you jostle boxes around the singles get damaged. Empty boxes might be cheaper if you check your local B&M. The trays look pretty nice though.

I keep all of my singles in a desktop humi. Holt's had these Savoy's for $20 that would only be a little more than the trays (thanks Tim).
