I just ordered a brick of 12 at 65%. Was tempted to order the 20 pack but not sure how to interpret the description of the specific packaging. Almost sounded like once you open the initial wrapper, they're all exposed.

Wasn't sure if their price of 146.99 was good for 300 8 gram 69% packs was good. Thought of hosting a group buy but I can't drive to Post Office right now. If anybody knows of a cheaper price on these, please let me know.

What most folks don't realize is that Bovida packs can be 'recharged' and used over and over.  I keep mine in a tupperware container with a small sponge I moisten with distilled water.  They absorb as well as give off humidity, so when placed in an environment where the RH is over their 'set point' the will fill right back up.  If they get too dried out, they are toast and should be discarded.

I order cigars from several sites that use them for shipment.  I recharge them and use them for the same purpose when I ship cigars to friends, as well as in my mobile humidors.  Works perfectly.

Yes! I have been doing that for years after I bought a bunch of those Fuente bags off of Ebay, dirt cheap, and all the packs were almost dry. Tried it and it worked. My supply still dwindles due to my main retailer not using them. Gonna be doing some mailings soon so... ;)
I'm sure that Boveda hates that some of us have figured that out.

I wrote them an email once about a getting a 4 or 5 in a 12 pack that were wet. They didn't answer my question about what causes that but did send me a whole brick to replace the 4 or 5 that were wet. They also included a nice Tee Shirt. Not too shabby a customer service experience.

Mine should be here today. They should last me a good year of so. I use them in those Plastic, gasketed, Lock&Lock food containers. I've had them easily last a good year in them. I get the big containers and put the whole box of cigars in. The Box makes for a nice buffer and the container doesn't suck the pack dry. Try to open them one a month or so for about 10 minutes.
