CigarPass.com is proud to announce the beta release of our latest project. We noticed there are many cigar members who have photo's they would like to share with others. We recently put together a new site which will allow you to share your photo's. Want to keep an eye on your cigar pass in real time as it makes it's rounds? Just have the participants post their photo's in the cigar pass section of the site.

The new website is: www.cigarphotos.com

This is a public beta release. We are still working on the general design and backend. It's off to a good start, however please keep in mind we are improving the site. Feel free to sign up and begin posting your images.

Nice job Rod. I've been wondering when the cigar pass photo album would be back up, but this is a nice replacement.
 
This one is a bit more universal, any member of any cigar site can use it. :thumbs:
 
Great Site....2 things though.

1 - What do we do when we screw up and put pictures in the wrong album? Just add a comment asking for it to be moved? (Yes I screwed up first!!)

2 - Can / should we advertise this on other boards we frequent or wait for the Beta to finish?

Good questions.

1.) If you put a picture in the wrong album, I'll move it for you. Actually, take a look at your controls, I believe you have the power to remove any picture you post. Please verify that... If I do come across a picture in the wrong category, I'll move it for you.

2.) Feel free to tell your friends and spread the word. Even though it's in beta, it's still operational. We will give it its own look and feel soon.

I was going to incorporate CigarPhotos.com into CigarPass.com, however I figured that would limit the site only to members of CP. By making it its own site, it allows for members of any cigar forum to come together and use the service. Kind of bringing all cigar aficionado's together.

If anyone has suggestions such as adding new categories, please let me know. I'm always open to suggestions. CigarPass wasn't made overnight, it took many comments/suggestions to get it where it is today, and we're still not done! More features coming to CP soon, but that's another story. :)

In my album, yes.... but in the common albums I don't see an option to delete or move a picture whether I posted it or not. It'll let me edit or delete picture comments anywhere though.

Also, another category I thought of might be "Hometowns," a specific place to show off where you live and such. Just an Idea though.

I'll keep fiddling with the site and come back with more ideas later.
