are they worth the bother..my local shop has several that look good?
are they even worth the bother???

Not good, IMHO. They burn too hot for my taste. Anyone else's views? :D

they do burn hot, but if you want a nice short smoke they are good, and you can get alot for little money. also they are great to share with friends that are new to cigar smoking, because if they don't like it after a few puffs no big deal.

mostly for when you want something fast...but they definitely lack the flavor and complexity (and satisfaction) of smoking something bigger. I had a Fuente Exquisito yesterday that was pretty good.

I think if I wanted a really quick smoke, I'd rather just smoke 1/4 of a cheap corona or Robusto sized cigar than a a cigarillo.

I really enjoy the Quintero and Cohiba Clubs. Nice quick smokes with great taste. I have tried some of the Davidoff cigarillos and really enjoyed them. Nice very quick smokes for when you don't have the time.

i dont mind them, gives me a little escape to Cuba during a busy day... i smoke these when i drive alot.. and yes they do burn hot, but i have smoked so many i have begun to notice the spice in the last third ( lol, maybe i should have said last half they do burn quick.. 10 min) I prefer Cohiba Club... and they are great little cigarillos to hand out if you have guests who dont normally smoke cigars.

Smoke 'em slow. Short easy draws are the key. You can't smoke them like a Churchill for hell sake :p And as Ric says the Cohibas and Quinteros are both very tasty :)

I bought a tin of Cao Maduro Cigarillos...not a bad quickie....I smoked it in small draws and it tasted pretty well...

I like them but I found it's better to stick to name brands like hdm and cao or even acid and as was said before small puffs and they aren't as hot. They're better than a cigarette or an american made cigar. ;)

I did find one that was very good, a good flavor, good amount of smoke and also a very unique Cubanesque flavor..
Tabacas Cordillera, a man name John Vogel started this group in Costa Rica. He wasthe R&D guy for Consolidated for 15 years so he should know a thing or two about that Cuban taste. He said he found a the perfect micro-climate to recreate the exact taste of the Vuelta region. His other smokes like the Puriscos were not that good but he sent me a few samples of some different mixes and if I wasn't so damn honest I could have gooten ISOM money for them. His small cigars are very good, I'll send you three or four if you want to try them (because I've smoked the rest)
