I was thinking about picking up these samplers to try out and wanted to see what people thought of them. Keep in mind I will freely admit that I am almost certainly going to buy them all, so I don't want to present it like I'm actually on the fence or anything. Rather I said in another thread that I would post my list, so here it goes. Also, I figure it doesn't hurt to get in as much info as possible, as that is why this site exists.
I know the preferred method here is to do a newbie trade, and I'll definitely to one real soon. My reason for buying these, as explained in more detail below, is that I am so new, I have no clue as to who I am as a cigar smoker, or what I actually really like, and wish to try a wide variety, but at an affordable price. I've already smoked a few more expensive ones and was not horrible impressed overall, and would rather do some learning at 3 bucks a stick rather then 8. Also, if I do like some of these, and I'm sure a few have to be good, these would be the price range on boxes that I would probably buy in the comming year.
Finally, how can I really do a newbie trade if I can't provide back some meaningful info on what I'm looking for. All it would be then would be someone blindly sending me sticks that they think I would like, based on no actually real info. I think maybe trying these samplers makes sense for me personally and will help me learn a few things. (And once again that thing I learn won't necessarily be to not buy samplers. )
All are from Carona Cigar Company:
Cain/Nub Sampler (8) - 29.95 (I have actually tried a Nub 358 Conniticut, and despite being a bit overwelmed afterwords, loved it while I was smoking it. It was actually very mild, had a great draw, tons of smoke, and that ash held on for over three inches. Even the nubs nub burned for almost another ten minutes just sitting there. I'm very excited to try the whole lineup including the Cains, although I know with these cigars, people seem to either love them or hate them.)

Best of Corona (12) - 34.95 (I'v seen some good reviews on these on youtube, and they seem to gravitate towards the mild side all around. I feel these would be a good way to try a varity of wrappers on the same cigar, but at a resonable price.)

Cao Flavored (14) - 44.00 (I've smoked several Cao flavored cigars thus far and like them, their nice and mild and a relaxing fun smoke, and can't see any down side to trying the whole line in two different sizes at a much better price then my B&M.

Ultimate Cigar (20) - 59.95 (This is the one I think most would pass on, but as it is 20 different cigars in differnt sizes and types, I think I will learn alot about different cigars from it.....and not just negative things. Plus their are several cigars in there that I have really gravitated towards wanting to try, and at 60 bucks I think I will be overall happy with this purchase. I might smoke a few dogs, might I might find a few gems.)

54 Cigars - 3.13 per cigar
168.85
I'm also going to buy a few cigarillo tins to bump the price up above 200 for free shipping as I'm close in price anyway. I've tried two tins of cigarillo's already and I like the small yet fulfilling nature of the smoke and feel it's better for an every day thing for me. Feel free to make some suggestions. I'm not looking to spend 20 bucks on a tin of five though.
Finally does anyone know of a resonable priced cigar that is maybe 5-6 inches, but as thin as a cigarillo, but a great smoke? Just curious. Something similar to what Wyatt Earp and Morgan smoke in this scene but maybe even a bit thinner like a cigarillo.
