Just picked up one of these a few days ago and was very anxious to try it considering I have grown pretty partial to nicaraguan cigars. So, here goes:
Cigar: Nicarao Robusto
Size: 5 x 52
Price: $3.30
Catagory: Full Bodied
Pre-light:
Construction was nice. A bit veiny but very oily. Draw was firm but nice and smooth. Aroma was slightly woody which I liked.
Smoke:
Burn was fairly even, a few touch-ups but nothing frustrating. I love the aroma this cigar puts out, very toasty with a bit of wood. Taste wasn't great, a significant amount of perfume (though not overwhelming) and some mesquite for about the first half of the cigar. The mesquite seemed to take over during the second half and the perfume started to fade.
Rating:
All in all this isn't a bad cigar, well made, decent taste and a great aroma. I give it a B-.
