Anyone know of any online retailer that offers something like this? I know I can get a wine of the month mailed to me, so as to sample many different wines. Is there any sort of offer like this for cigars?

Any help would be appreciated.

I started CI Nov 2005. They definitely sent interesting cigars. The first one I tried was a Maria Gerroro or however its spelled. It was a nice dog rocket. I smoked another one, the Partaga Rosado or whatever it was. It was an ok stick. I forgot what the other two were. One is by La Aurora and the other, I forgot. And just not going to dig through to find the sticks.

I'm sharing the 8 sticks a month with Dongzilla since he has to develop his palate and mines established. Not a bad way to split hte cost up so that I just spend $15 a month on sticks I know I would never buy. So I think its worth it.

I think Thompson has something like that, or I could just send you a couple dog rockets every month and charge you a a fortune for them.

I don't think I'd classify the Maria Guerrero a dog rocket. The Bellicoso recieved a 90 in the Dec. issue of Cigar Afficionado. I find it a nice medium bodied cigar.

Doc.

We tossed ours since they was complete dog rockets. One of the worst cigars I've ever had the displeasure to smoke. Never again.

Even though I have still never caught one of the monthly group buys in time to get in, they look incredible, for the money, you are getting much, MUCH nicer cigars. The only issue being that you are not going to get 8 different cigars a month, you'll get your portion of the box of the month.
