Cigar Factory Outlet - Michigan - Sat. July 17th

Just an FYI to those in michigan. Cigar Factory Outlet is opening a brand new second location, on the corner of Hall rd and Schoenherr next Saturday, July 17th from 10 am to 10 pm. There are supposed to be raffles, free cigar just for showing up, catering, playboy playmates....that sort of thing. The email also says they have a "Montecristo Lounge" so that will be interesting to check out I'm sure.

From what I've heard, I think it is supposed to have something like a 2500 sq. ft humidor. Great group of guys that run the place though. For those that know the area, its across the street (schoenherr) from lakeside mall in the same plaza that hobby lobby/ballys/office depot/carrabas is in.

For some reason my last post didn't go through. I swear I heard it was that big, either while in the other location one day or on the internets somewhere. In an earlier post, they actually call it the largest in the world and says its OVER 2000 square feet and that they will have at least 100,000 cigars available at the new location. Something like that. It sounds pretty crazy, but I think they have been doing pretty well after renovating their old location which was small to be much bigger with a much larger humidor, and a very nice lounge area with flat screens and such.

Not real sure how many square feet it is, but its the biggest i've seen or been in. I assume its smaller than the new location they are touting. Best part about the new location is that its 5 minutes from my house!

Since I can't edit for some reason, that pic I just posted only shows one aisle of that humi. There is an equally as long aisle on the right as well. Ask souldog what he thought of it, we met up there for a smoke one time.

Dude, this place was without a doubt, THE BIGGEST HUMIDOR I have ever seen and been in. It's crazy! If I could be there for this gig, I would be!

Well I didn't end up making the grand opening, sad to say. I did pop in there last week, and I can't honestly tell if the humi is bigger there, or in the other location. Its still pretty damn nice, but they need to get some more stock in as there were some empty shelves.

I checked out the montecristo room, and it was pretty damn cool. The only not cool thing about it was the cost to be a "member" to smoke in there. But if you can make it there by the 31st, you can smoke in there without being a member, after that you have to buy a membership.

I still love the place as they have a huge open area for smoking with TV's and such. Can't wait till they get some more stock in, I kinda liked the selection at the other location a wee bit better.

After looking at the that humi, I need to get my credit line increased. Holy mollie sapphire. Then I would need a day off just to cruise up and down the asiles looking for what I hope I don't find. You da lucky man brother.
