I had seen the red can at a cigar shop a few years ago. The small galv. can looks doable.
This.Usally just let burn out in ash tray and empty ash tray into trash can when cool
I have a hard time paying $90 for a trash can. If it were me, I'd buy this one: https://huntsestablishment.online/Page_i719820
Toilet is not a good idea, as any plumber will tell you.
Doc
My godfather was a plumber."Never put anything down a toilet that didn't come out of you, except toilet paper." Sure cigars are biodegradable, but how long is that going to take? Longer than you think. Plug up your main drain and you got a big bill coming your way; not to mention the mess and aggravation from your wife. There are better ways to get rid of your cigar butts.I always wondered about this and I'm sure there are a few plumbers on CP. My father in law used to put cigarettes (which I think would be worse) in the toilet and I don't think there were ever plumbing issue. I'm sure septic would be worse than sewer, but if it's a cigar butt, then it's compostable material just like the other stuff that goes down there and should break down accordingly, yeah?
Thanks for finding that. So what is this water can thing that Doc is talking about? I’m interested in learning more. That's a good price until you add the shipping cost, $25 to NY. I checked Amazon and they have a 4 Gal one for $12.99 shipped for prime members. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on that one. Also, I might purchase the watering can Doc mentioned. Thanks gentlemen!

Are you serious? It’s not slang for something else? Is it really that simple?Watering can.......you use it to water things.
Yup. It's not like a left handed smoke shifter, or a pot of steam. It's simply a watering can.Are you serious? It’s not slang for something else? Is it really that simple?

How has that worked for you?I've just been letting them die out, then taking them apart and making pipe tobacco out of them
How has that worked for you?
