Told my boss I was going to check out a lake that folks were complaining we had too many Northern Pike in it. The lake was 30 min drive so thought I would fire up this cigar I had been eying for a day or so it had a nice fruity smell and had caught my eye. Climbed into my truck looked for my favorite .308 cal punch couldn’t find it so used my backup guillotine on it. Sniffed it one more time and gently lit the smoke a most pleasing mint and citrus smell wafted out from beneath the flame a smile lit on my face. I slowly took my first puff its draw was nice and smooth started up my truck and rolled down the paved tank trail admiring the trees and changing leaves along the way along with a most thrilling flavor that seemed to grow as I puffed. Had been driving for about 20 min looked down and I had an amazing 3 inches of uniform ash dangling off the end of this smoke. Tapped the ash off didn’t want it to fall in my lap noticed the burn was nice and even unless you stopped puffing for a moment or so but a quick puff fixed it right up. Arrived at the lake started casting no luck so started feeding the Mallards bits of a sandwich I had eaten earlier they quickly snatched them up great cigar great atmosphere what a nice day. I suddenly felt a burn on my lips and realized I had smoked this cigar to the nub and quickly flicked it into the lake. One of the mail ducks swam over quickly snatched it up and was swimming around with it in his beak for a bit so a great cigar ended with a good belly laugh. For a $2 cigar this one is really good plan on buying a box of them.
