Saw this at Bargain humidors

http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/itemdeta...p?SKU=ACC-CIGEL

It seems to be the same gel used in Drymistat tubes. These jars are only $2 as opposed to what a pound of climmax beads would cost $30.

I have a couple of drymistat tubes and those are my main humidifers in my humidors and they seem to be working just fine. Any opinions on these?

I just purchased one about a week about for my humi. The maker of mine is Madelaine, Inc. The same people that make the propylene glycol solution. It seems to be working wonderfully! My smokes at the bottom of my humi were a little on the dry side. Now that I put it at the bottom, they seem to be perfect. I needed an extra humidification device living in the Arizonan desert. I give it a two  up! Once the gel things fall below a certain point just refill with solution or distilled water.

Sounds look a good solution to one's humidity problems, though I love the beads and will probably stick with those. My wife bought me a 300 count El Diablo humidor from bargainhumidors.com which I'm very thrilled with. I didn't realize it until a few months later that bargain humidors made the infamous scumbags and bad traders list. According to the site, they have engaged in "questionable business practices" or whatever that means/implies. Like I said, I had no problem with them whatsoever, but just to let you know.
