Had a few smokes while watching football at the club this afternoon....

Opus X Chili Pepper (2002, 5" x 55) -- A shame to clip the curved cap off of this cigar, but it can't be smoked otherwise! Despite the name, I wouldn't say this cigar is any spicier than your average Opus with a few years of age on it. <Insert characteristic Opus flavors here> The finish when it reached the thinner part of the cigar was epic; I borrowed a toothpick for that.

Padrón 1964 Anniversary Maduro Torpedo (2003, 6" x 52) -- Padrón Anniversaries are cigars that just always burn wonderful and smoke consistently well. I hadn't had a 1964 maduro in a while, so I figured I'd spark this one up. Lovely cigar, hints of nuts, coffee, carmel --- and burned like a dream.

Bolivar Corona Junior (2003, 4 3/8" x 42) -- These little Cuban gems are great short smokes. Full of earthy, spicy flavors with a wonderful cane sugar hint of sweetness that makes you want to smoke it to the nub. So I did. Yummy!

Didn't have a single bad smoke today, except the fake Cohiba Siglo VI that I puffed on briefly just to confirm my suspicions. It actually wasn't a bad cigar; but it definitely wasn't a Cuban Cohiba; tasted low-end Dominican to me. And the Packers game had a killer finnish too!

Just came back from a little post-;unch smoke and had a PAM 1964 Torpedo. These are indeed great smokes, full of flavor and so perfectly constructed. These and the PAM Exclusivos are my go to smokes when I just don't want to mess around with anything. Dying to try one of those Bolivars you mentioned, I keep hearing a lot of good things about them.

I had a real Cohiba Siglo VI from 2003 last Friday...great smoke, but I think they need a little more time to develop.
