Stopped by the local B&M today to see if they had any more Opus in stock (supposed to on Friday, will keep everyone posted), and they had a box of Chateau Fuente SG in stock for $3.50 a stick. I am not sure how easy these are to get everywhere else ??? , but they are not so easy around here so I thought I would post the deal if anyone is looking for them.

Thanks,

That's the going rate.

I didn't think they were much cheaper than elsewhere, I was just not sure how readily available they were to everyone else. In my neck of the woods, the local B&M concentrates more on Backwoods than anything else, so anytime something better comes along, it seems like Christmas. :D

Then check out billboardtobacco (site sponsor I'm pretty sure), CLICKY $3 per stick or 20 for $58.50.

My local has them at $5.50 a stick, but then again Anejo Sharks are $34.00 at the same location. Hmmm, now why do I buy most of my stuff online! :sign:

I find these to be very UN-balanced and UN-enjoyable... if you haven't tried them yet I would suggest you but a single before you shell out for the whole box.

Hey, to each his own. I've smoked through many many boxes of these and love them.

^^^ me too. But that's the neat thing about cigars, wine, cars, women, we all have different tastes, and we're all right.

I think these great also. Viva la difference. Some of your girlfriends and wives didn't do it for me either but some of them are worth going back to

Not to mention, they're fairly spectacular with a year of age on them. Honestly, for a $4 cigar, they are probably one of the better buys to be had, especially if you have the facilities and time to let them sleep.

for sure Wade, was just stating my personal experience.

I don't care for the SG's but the Maduro's, now they are something special for a $3.00 cigar.

I have to agree. I have only had one of the SG's but I love the maduros. Definitely a great box to have stored up. Are the doubles as good?

I've never had a double but the addy is always in the profile :whistling:

Thats a pretty good singles price. I think the box I bought from JR's breaks down to about that. Other B&Ms I've been to want about $5/stick.

For the best bang per buck I go with the Sancho Panza DM Quixote. The box I got works out to $1.80/stick.

But there sure isnt anything wrong with a CF SG with a little time to equilibriate in the proper environment.

Buy a couple, let them rest in the humi for 6 months - 1 year. I did that and now I love them. I hated them straight out of the box also, but let one sit for 6 months to "level out" and it was great.
