I just came back from Las Vegas.
My first trip since I started smoking cigars. I packed a nice sampler pack of robustos. I thought the churchills would take to long.
The problem I had was that I could not enjoy the cigars in the casino. I was gambling playing Craps, Black Jack, and Roulette while I was smoking.
I could not relax enough to enjoy them. Even in the "Ultra Lounges" it was tough to really chill out and enjoy my smoke. I found myself wasting cigars.

I would rather be in my hammick relaxed smoking my cigars.

How about you?

Huh? ??? That's one of the best times to smoke cigars. :D I chain smoke cigars in Vegas. I always take a crap load of them whenever I go there.

I can't enjoy a cigar if I don't have something to do, like reading or watching a movie, etc

I guess I don't really have that problem, because recently I am constantly smoking and the cigar is just an extension of my hand, meaning I am comfortable no matter where I am.

When I go to Vegas I go there to get plastered, so I pack cigars accordingly, 3-5 dollar solid cigars that are perfect with beers, beers, beers, beers, and... more beers. Plus, ever since they made the poker rooms smoke free, it makes it tough to smoke a lot of cigars as that is the only game I can beat Vegas at :)

WOW.. I could not imagine going to Vegas and not smoking. I usually pack 25 cigars for a week vacation in Vegas.

I always smoke when I play Blackjack and roulette. I can be at a table for 5-8 hrs..depending on the streak..and can usually polish off 2 gars and lots of booze..LOL!!

Also nothing like going to a fine steak restaurant (delmonico's) and retiring to the cigar /bar areas to have a scotch and a habano..

also so many neat place to smoke..all the different lounges at the various casinos...and there is nothing like lighting up and walking down the street with a cigar in one hand and a beer in the other..!

Man I luv Vegas!!

What I enjoyed doing was smoking a Cigar and just walking around the strip enjoying all the sites to see. The best part of Vegas is while you are smoking you can walk into any Casino and not get told to leave.

I've got to agree with the majority here. Can't imgaine spending hours at the blackjack table, as I've been known to do, and not have a cigar in hand. But there will be now smoking while walking down the strip for me. The thing I can't do is stroll and smoke. In order for me to really enjoy it I need to be sitting or stanindnig still.

I think maybe he was referring to smoking a cigar when others are next to you who may not smoke. I just got back from Reno, I remember lighting up a short story at the black jack table and I heard a bunch of under the breath rumblings. I cut the end off that short story and put it back in my jacket and pulled out a Gurka Boer that so happen to be in the inside pocket of my dress jacket and while lighting it up 3 of the 7 people at our table left

Oh F'n well !
I hate people LOL

...haven't been back to Vegas since I began smoking quality cigars (about a year), so I'm looking forward to it. We're going in January; maybe some locals would like to hook up and herf? I'll post a thread when we book the trip...

Ditto!! When im in the casinos, im usually pretty hammered and cant taste much anyway so i tend to smoke cheaper ones that wont put me in the poor house and wont make me cry if it falls on the floor(its happened before!!), gets taken away by the cocktail waitreses(happened too as they were emptying out the ashtray!) or for some other reason i cant enjoy it.

You know with so many places that have boycotted smoking or made you feel like an Idiot when you lite up. I think Vegas is a great place to smoke a cigar.

A cigar relaxes you. When you gamble, I like to relax. If you are to tense you can make a bad desicion and loose. There is nothing better than being able to smoke indoors and get free drinks to go with your cigars and gamble. I think smoking a cigar is natural when you are in Vegas.

I do suggest that you bring your own. I have been to Vegas a few times to many. My last trip was to Casa Fuente and $525.00 later for a box of house Robustos. Prices are 3x the norm. Bring your own if you can.The cigar shops are well stocked but very expensive.

Wow, I have to say, I really enjoyed my cigars over at foxwoods. Coventry and I had a smoke on some port and it was phenomenal.

Remember that asian chick at the black jack table that just made us light up another and be even rudier with our smoke. She was such a B***** hey your dealing, deal with it

What I like about going to Vegas and smoking in the casinos, is to walk around and find the other guys in there smoking cigars and seeing what they are smoking. Just to see...they are usually white owls or something bad. But every once in a while I come across someone with an ISOM or Opus X or whatever. Kind of fun when 99% of the smokers have stinky cigarettes in their desperate hands.

face it ...Vegas just rocks in general....

I was walking around The Rampart Casino here the other night smoking a greycliff and a man smoking a cigar stopped me and asked me what I was smoking becuase it smelled good...I told him and he looked like I had just kicked his dog. I asked him waht he was smoking and it was one of those J.R. house smokes...which I told him they were good..but not my thing...it was the only greycliff I have ever smoked...but right then I was the baddest cigar daddy on the planet to him..I rock...

There is 3 places I feel super comfortable smoking a cigar.
1.Cigar bar or lounge.
2.Casino
3.Strip club (not like I ever go to one :p)

I know what you mean...I was at the Silver Legacy in Reno and I had a Forbidden X lit up and my boss had a ISOM Punch Punch. We were chatting with the bartender and when he asked me what I was smoking...I explained they only made 20,000 of them worldwide...yadda yadda. This rich gal next to me offered to buy what I had left for $50 (Half a stick, still smoking it). I just laughed and said "NO!". But I did sell her a Padron 40th for $50. :whistling:

Vegas was where I started to smoke good cigars. Hell if your playing they will give you cigars on the house. When the cocktail waitress comes buy and you order your drink just ask for one.
