I know someone here has been to the Casa Fuente. I am going to Vegas in about 2 weeks and would like to know if it would be worthwhile to go by and see if they have any good stuff, besides the regular fare of course, since I know it will be pricey.

its worth going just to go. that have alot of stuff you wont find anywhere else, just bring some plastic.

It's worth it to go...buy something you would normally not find or think of smoking...cut it, light it and sit down and order a mojito from the gal at the bar!! :) If you're going there might as well soak in the environment and relax with a great cigar and great drink. But that's just me...I've done it and can't wait to do it again!!

I haven't gone yet (girlfriend and friend went and were kind enough to pick cigars up for me).

I heard it's smaller than what the pictures show. I guess the pics don't do it justice. I have a friend that's going this week and is probably lurking on this forum right now! If you're reading this...GO TO CASA FUENTE!!! You won't be sorry!

I agree with fetterjohn...it's worth-while to just go once. If you're not planning to visit Vegas often...buy 1 rare cigar, sit down, order a drink and light one up!

All you lucky people out there that have had the opportunity...damn all of you!

Hmm, I do live 5 hours away...what's stopping me from going?

My recommendation is to sit there, have a mojito, and smoke a Casa Fuente Corona Gorda cigar. If you like it, pick up a box of 'em -- they are the best value in the Casa Fuente line, and I also think one of the best smoking CF vitolas.

The other stuff they have there -- Añejos, Opus, sometimes Classic SGs, and the AF 13s/BBMFs/LBMFs/Forbidden X... if you win big on the tables in Vegas, and like 'em, then splurge. Otherwise, save yourself some money.

In addition,

prices do suck...and they do change.

My girlfriend got me a few anejo's (#50) for $18.
Then, my friend went about a month later and the price went up to $22!!!

They claimed that $18 was for the #46. Maybe they mis-charged my girlfriend.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

Got... To... Smoke... ONE!!!!

Prices are good for the Vegas Strip actually. Check out the prices in the Davidoff shop...

what casino is casa fuente in, thanks?

I think you should go...as a matter of fact..I will meet you there for a smoke if you wanna...hopefully by then my back will be better...

Gotta agree with fetterjohn. Except I'd bring a couple of the casa fuentes back home with you since you can't get them anywhere other than vegas.

I was there a few months ago. Very pricey, but worth the trip to check it out. It's in the Caesars Palace Forum Shops. The shop is on the side near the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd). I believe it's on the 2nd fl.

I'm probably going back up in Nov or Dec.

average drink price is 12, and average smoke price is 20! Under 40, and you get a buzz.... :(

The only bar with smokes for sale in my area is a Fox and the Hound. I've never bought smokes from there, I'm a B.Y.O.C. kinda guy. (Bring your own cigar) :D

Oh, one more thing. Watch out for the little lady there. She's about 26 and has only been smoking cigars for about 6 months (she told me) and knows everything there is to know about cigars. You might get lectured. When I was in the shop, this guy bought a $20 cigar and asked her for a cutter. She insisted on cutting it for him. Then he asked for a lighter. You could tell he really wanted to light it, again she insisted and said "trust me, let me do it". The guy was noticably uncomfortable by her actions. She was a little cocky in my opinion. If a customer wants to cut/light his cigar, let him do it! If I was him, I would have said something to her. Anyway, if she's there, you'll know who I'm talking about.

Rod, thanks for the tip on the "little lady". I would agree, I more or less like to do things myself (well some things are better done by the little lady) at least when it comes to lighting and cutting cigars.

matty are we heading up there on thursday afternoon befor we hit up the mc brewery? did you guys take off on friday from work so we can party all night long..LOL!! 3 weeks and counting!!

I think I know which little lady you mean. And yeah she does seem to think she knows a lot even though she made obvious mistakes talking to me about anejos.

Refernce this post I made about the same girl
http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/index.php?...%20fuente&st=20

I hate that chick so much...my friend went in the other day and she was not there..but someone else hound dogged him all the way through the humidor.

as far as meeting up early thursday that will be rather hard..as my gf does not get off work till five...I might be able to meet you there...and she can catch up with us later..I will ask her and see what she thinks...I will pm you when I know what is going on...

I really hate Casa Fuente...but then I am not a big fan of the strip in general..
