Yah, Matty...wah' happen???

-Fetter

He probably ran out of money buying up all their good smokes!!LOL!!

I walked in and was the only customer there. I walk to the back and go into the humidor and proceed to get hasseled by the sales girl for twenty minutes. She kept calling me baby and honey and sh!t

"Hey homey..why don't you just buy a box baby..."
"hey baby I really like these (random opus x), these are my favourites..you should buy some of these..."

I aboslutely hate bieng sold while I am inside a humidor..it is okay to come in and talk to me about cigars while I am shopping..what is not okay is this Faux I think you are hot routine to try to get me to spend 525.00 on a box of cigars
I have this feeling they were afraid I was gonna rob them or shoplift a bunch of cigars..becuase the guy who runs the place was firmly planted right outside the entrance..this also happened at another shop here in town...so I stopped shopping there too. When people see me walk into a humidor I must tend to scream "criminal"

whatever...I just did not have a shiny happy casa fuente experience..so much so I did not even buy and smokes for myself...

on another note...compared to other stuff on the strip..they are not that out of line on their prices...just a few dollars more...not double....

Sorry to hear about your experience. I've been several times, and once I had something similar happen to me. It IS incredibly frustrating.

They didn't happen to have classic SGs when you where there, did they?

I find it amusing when I step foot in a humidor and they follow my every step like I'm going to shop lift or something. POS's!

DAMN RIGHT I DO...there is also a little odd magnet thingie in there for you lol

Correct me if I am wrong, but last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the MGM Grand, and the Cigar shop there was freakin ridiculously close to extorsion with the prices they charged.

If memory serves me right..the shop in the MGM (I never go there)is a Davidoff shop..which is crazy expensive!!!

Strip prices are totally insane...at Casa Funete..short storys (kinda my barometer for prices) were 12.00 or so...my local Tinderbox has them for 8.00..I can hunt around and find them for 7.00 sometimes

price for cigars on the strip are insane..whenever you come into town..I will take you someplace for better priced cigars

But the davidoff shop at the MGM has a hot looking latina working there who actually knows about cigars. Her and were having a discussion about certain cigars and their creators..

oh yeah!!!
I remember her know!!!

I bought my first 20 dollar cigar there!!!

Wow $550, only tried 1 so far and it was great, but not close to a cohiba sublime for about the same price, but as they say supply and demand.

Different smokes for different folks! :) I like the Sublimes, but think there's better value in various Siglo's... and more robust taste.

I thought you would dig the thermometer..there was a similar one with a stripper dancing on a pole...but it looked cheesey...enjoy the smokes...I THOUGHT THEY LOOKED ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!

they are so beautiful I almost made up a story about me dropping two of them..and tossing in a coupl D.C. #4's from my humidor..lol

I talked to dawn yesterday about a giraffee..and she is all excited now...I am gonna see if I can get some of my smoking buddys to come out as well...

ugh. LMK when you want to buy a box or a large amount of Short stories, and I'll help you cut that 8 in half.
