I thought me and Cano were closer than this! He slipped a new one out on the market without telling me. And I wear his trucker's cap and everything. Anyway, anybody tried this thing yet? I'm still pissed cuz my local store doesn't carry MX2s

I've got one -- haven't tried it yet tho. It'll be a under a month before I can give it a go unfortunately.

Just introduced at the RTDA. Should be out at shops in the next couple of weeks.

I am waiting on mine from my shop, my friend the owner tried one at the show and said they were a huge disappointment, he tried 2 of them, and said they were not good at all, I'm still optimistic though. :)

My shop has em. I'm not much of a CAO person. This line of em is one good smoke. I recommend it. Very strong and spicy. :D

Woops!! Thought we were talking about Mx2s.

Info here:
CAO Italia

And previos board discussion can be found Here

As far as the people I've asked - 1 said he liked 'em, Most on the boards say they were a disappointment and all the others I asked in person say they were too pissed at CAO to even go to their booth and did not try them. If you read teh RTDA thread it seems to be a trend, there are alot of people saying they are not happy with the CAO mgmt right now.....

Why's everyone mad at CAO? ??? Thought they were a good company and loved my many

Well on at least 3 different threads people including shop owners who went to Vegas last month are saying they hate and would never buy CAO or sell them in their shops. I ask for a brief explanation and get no reply at all ???

I've heard mixed reviews about the Italia. As for the company, I've been told by two dealers that the Reps they dealt with were offensive and the company requires certain amount of buying before they'll deal with you.

I DON'T KNOW PERSONALLY - that's what I have by word of mouth.

I love several CAO cigars (including some flavored) so I'll keep them towards the top of my list.

I dont understand either. I really like the CAO line, especially the CAO Black. I've also had the La Anniversary Extre,e. a tasty smoke if I do say so.

If I were to guess, I would think the dislike would have something to do with the marketing/distribution of their lines. Perhaps they have some type of agreement that isn't quite agreeable with their retailers?

I really would like to know, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the quality of the cigars, at least in my opinion.

I remember Matt (smokers only) saying that you had to buy a the whole Brazilia package to get the Anaconda ??? . Could be they use this on all their cigars. Buy the whole package or get none at all :sign:
