Well this has been sitting in my humi for a few weeks thanks to CigarALs' generousity. But I've heard good things about this cigar so on my way home from an interview, I thought this would make my 45min drive a little nicer.

I'm not sure if the cold had anything to do with it but this stick lit up pretty quick. I initially noticed the spice and sweet aroma. Spice was abit strong at first but mellowed out nicely after a few puffs. Nice even burn as well and alot of smoke.

As the spice kept its cool going into the middle 1/3, the flavor was hard to pin down. Definitely coffee notes and a undescribable sweetness to it. Still burning like a champ with no touch-ups and clouds of smoke.

Going into the last 1/3 the spice is starting to kick in but not enough to make your tongue feel burnt or tingly. I still can't pin down the flavors while it jumps around from puff to puff but the coffee is still there and oh that sweet aroma. mmmMMMM. Not wanting it to end, I smoked this until I felt a burn feeling on my cold fingers. Hard to tell what the ash was like since it was dark but it held up at least an inch. As I walk into stopnshop to get some dinner, I say goodbye to this nice cigar.

I must say that I'm not too fond of that real spiciness that makes your tastebuds tingle and I was expecting it from this stick but it held up real nice. With the flavors bouncing around with hints of spice popping out this was once enjoyable cigar. Nice aroma, perfect burn from beginning to end, sweet mysterious flavors... looks like I have another go to cigar I need to stock up on. At least one thing went well today as I did not get the job but at least it leaves me more time to smoke :D

I love the brazillias, excellent in all categories. TONS of smoke, not particularlly thick smoke, actualy kinda grainy, but lots of it, and it smells great. I dunno which I like more: smoking these, or looking at them, they're so beautiful.

Agreed, I really enjoy the Brazilia line. Surprisingly, for a 4 1/2 by 45/46, even the Piranha has a ton of flavor and plumes of smoke. Great cigar if you are short on time but want lots of flavor.

I love 'em! Some hate 'em, but the flavor you couldn't pin down is anise. When I read that in a review before I tried one, I thought, "Is this a flavored cigar?"
It's not. Some tobacco has hints of anise as part of it's normal, tobacco profile.

I like the free form style of your review. I think I'm doing my next couple that way for a change of pace! Thanks ;)

Some fault the cigar due to it's simplicity. I love 'em, that's all I know! :D
