I got a couple of these (5" bout a 48 ring corona) in my B&Ms bargain basket, $1.59 less 50%. What the hell, nothing to lose. He had no idea what they are and neither do I. I also snagged a couple of those Indian Tabac Fire PCs for less than a buck each.

Here's an excerpt that may be more what you were looking for than a smart ass response :D

After three years of development, Ed Nikka, president of Hoja Cigar Company, Burbank, Calif. (800-984-1213), debuted the Hoja Perfecto, which will only be available at a limited number of tobacconists nationwide. The Perfecto line is hand made in Costa Rica at Tabacalera Tambor from vintage 1996 Nicaraguan and Dominican filler, Dominican binder, and Ecuadorian wrapper, four frontmarks are offered: Prado (6 x 44), Delicado (5 x 50), Nino (4 x 52), and Invectos (6 x 54). The Perfecto line is box pressed, aged 120 days, and presented in limited cabinets. Only 292,000 units will be made. The company also introduced new packaging across its line of Hoja Yellow Band and Hoja 1965 cigars.

You went easy on me, thanks man. I'm going back to get the rest of them.

How are they? You did not tell us what you thought of them and how they smoked. Is it correct to assume that you liked them since you are gooing back to get more? Give us a review.

Also, if you are interested in trading a couple PM me . . . I always like to try something new and probably could never get in my local B&M.

Damned remiss of me. I'm going back to the B&M tomorrow, I hope, to get the rest he has. I didn't take notes, but I thought it was wonderful. I do recall the pre and post light draws were good (unlike the RP Vintage I'm smoking now). Construction was great - part of why I grabbed it. I'll see how many I can get.

The Hoja Yellowbands used to be the best selling bundles around. They were actually pretty good cigars. Everything was rolled alongside the Bahia cigars, in Costa Rica. The perfecto line didn't sell quite as well, if I remeber correct.
