The Camacho Triple Maduro. As you all know by now I love Maduro Cigars there flavor is great. And the pair up will with a good stout beer or a nice black Coffee. This time it was a nice Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout from England.

Wrapper: Honduras (Maduro)
Binder: Honduras (Maduro)
Filler: Honduras (Maduro)

Prelight: The smell from the foot of the cigar was sweet not like candy sweet but more a dark Chocolate earthy sweetness. The Look was very toothy with a few lumps. And two great looking bands one on the foot one in the traditional spot. The cigar was firm to the touch with no soft spots. Pre light draw gave a nice smooth draw with sweet yet spicy flavor coming though.

First Half: After toasting this stick with my torch I was greeted with a lot of this creamy smoke consisting of a nice Chocolaty woody smoke with some spicy undertones barely detectable. So far Burn was good not prefect but never needing a touch up. Ash Held strong all the way to the halfway point. The flavors stayed consistent for the first half of this cigar.

Second half: The second half of this smoke was still great burn was consistent with the first half with lots of thick smoke. Flavors on this half changed over more to a woodsy flavor with some coffee and Bitter Chocolate in the background. The spice was all but gone but the smoke was defiantly bolder and flavors were more pronounced. Right about the band line the cigar started to get more of a bitter flavor and lost almost all of the sweetness that was present. I smoked for a little longer but the cigar just lost its appeal so I put her to rest.

Conclusion: Even with the cigar getting better at the nub over all this was still a good smoke with well over and hour into the stick. This was a nice smoke. I was a little disappointed I had to put her to rest a little early. And the price for these cigars are a little high so I don’t know if I will add any more to the collection. But overall I think the cigar will require a revisit sometime soon. Thanks for reading rp

Nice review. I always keep my eyes out for Camacho's but they are hard to find here in town.

Nice review man. These are some of my favorite sticks. I just wish they were a tad less pricey.

Brian - I still have the one you sent me sitting in my humi. It skeers me!

Thanks for the great review!

Don't be skeered. Nuh huh. I love these cigars. I've had a box sitting in my humidor for the past year.

Thanks for the great review. This is one of my favorite cigars. I never had the chance to smoke the 6/60 and have been dying to try one. 50/4.5 is what I smoke when I can get them. I haven't had the bitter taste at the end on the smaller size.
