Today, my girl and I went to the local B&M to pick out some cigars to smoke together. She went with a Nub Connecticut, and I decided I would try something different today, so I picked up a tasty looking Triple Maduro. I would have to say this was one of the top cigars I have tried so far, I really enjoyed every bit of it! The flavors were rich, with hints of wood, cocoa, and though I couldn't quite put my finger on it I believe some vanilla. I nubbed that sucker, and it stayed cool as hell until my finger tips were burning! Delicious!

*Edited to fix stupidity....forgive me! :whistling:

Did it or did it not have vanilla? ???

Last one I had tasted like a dark chocolate bar... That was over a year ago though.. :whistling:

The flavors on the Triple Maduro I had were fantastic but the two biggest drawbacks of the cigar were the price and the burn issues I had with it.

LOL, err, good catch, I am not sure what the hell I did there! :sign: Fixed! I "think" it had vanilla, but you are right it definitely had a lot of cocoa to it. It was delicious, I had to keep telling myself not to chew on the damn thing!

I agree, the price is a bit higher than I expected, but from what I have seen in trying to order online these are out of stock a lot. The burn on mine was perfect, no correcting needed, though I did purge a couple times. I wouldn't ding it for the purging though, as each time I got a blast of cocoa which was very nice.

I bought one of these last time I was in the humidor of my go-to place. While the price was much higher than I am comfortable with, the overall look of the cigar had me salivating. I figure since I like some powerful LFD stuff that I'd take a flier on another strong stick. Hope it doesn't let me down when its time comes for smoking.

Even though it is a little pricey, it is one of my favorite sticks right now. I make sure always to have a couple resting in the humidor. I keep these in my CC humidor which seemed to help in the burn issue.

I was going to wait until Memorial weekend to smoke my first. But after reading this I think I will have one tonight
