but I think the Padrón "000" series are better than the 1964s.

The 1964 I smoked was too refined somehow, too smooth too how should I put it? "mature"

Don't get me wrong I really loved it, but I would have gladly traded the 1964 Diplomatico Maduro I smoked tonight for a fresh 4000 Maduro.

Goes to show everyones tastes are different I guess. :)

YOUR CRAZY!! You said to call you crazy, so I did.

I like the 2000's myself but I don't think you can beat the x000 for the money. Great cigars.

Thats it in a nutshell brother Shiba, I love Padróns... in fact I have not had a bad one yet. But the 1964 didn't wow me for the simple fact it was too aged and refined. All of the x000 I've had grabbed me by the sack right from the get go and I loved it. The 1964 didn't grab me... and thats why I didn't enjoy it as much.

Wurm, as much as I like the regular line of Padrons, the 64's are in my opinion one of the finest cigars on the planet. The smoothness is what makes them so tasty. If you don't already, try exhaling the smoke through your nose, the 64's are not mild cigars, they are on the stronger side of medium in my opinion.

I exhaled through my nose, and I waited for weeks till my sinuses were clear before smoking it.

The taste just wasn't there for me, I have one more I'm praying its going to be the "one" but if it isn't... I'm going to stick to the 4000 maduros I can get a 5er of them for what one 1964 costs over here sadly to say.

lol I'd would only do that if I had of posted "I think all Padróns taste worse than Thompson greens!" :p

And WTH... if anyone wants to trade me a 5er of 4000 Maduros for this one 1964 I have left let me know lol

I don't care fore any x000 that is under 9-12 months old. Too green for my tastes. But after that, look out. They are still punchy, but more complex. AS for being better than the 64 line, well dunno bout that. But I like the 64's better than the 26's. The 26's do nothing for me at all.

I agree with wurm, I like my women and cigars a little on the trashy side.
