Let me start off by saying thank you to Moki for providing me with a box of these so generously. It was way over the top and I am extremely grateful for the chance to try these.

The info in the cigar is here: http://vitolas.net/displayimage.php?album=37&pos=1

The description is right on when it says it starts out spicy. I was actually pretty shocked as to how bold and spicy up front it was. After about an inch it mellowed into a very full, creamy smoke with TONS of flavor. I'm not one to point out distinct flavors like many others are on here so I won't even attempt it. The 2nd third of the cigar was very creamy and nutty in flavor and finished out with a little more kick kind of like the initial flavors were. All in all it was a fantastic small little smoke, I'd like to smoke them more often since I need more great flavored small smokes but I'm trying my best to not touch these haha.

Again, a thanks to Andrew for the opportunity to have these.

Nice review. The pictures were excellent and are always a nice touch. Now dip a Q-Tip in some alcohol and clean that Palio

Very nice review Ben and great pics! I really enjoy Cabaiguan Guapos, can't say as I've ever had the regular line. Sounds like a nice smoke.

Awesome review.

Did you smoke this while watching the game?

Edit: the Cowboys did play the better game.

Ah....the stick that had us all screaming Cuban in the blind taste test.

Great cigar.

Nope just got done right when I posted it. And Greg this one is a little different than the regular line, but very good as well.

"WCD" stands for W. Curtis Draper's, a cigar shop in Washington, DC that celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2007. These special Cabaiguan vitolas were created exclusively for this shop; originally intended to be 120 boxes of 12, but there ended up being a production run of 150 boxes of 12.

The WCD 120's are slightly more spicy upfront than your typical Cabaiguan, but mellow into the typical smooth creamy Cabaiguan profile later on in the smoke. These little cigars sport a pigtail cap to round out the presentation.

Just saw the bottle of Shiner. Good stuff man!

Nice review! I've liked every Cabaiguan vitola, and version, I've tried. Just a great cigar.
You're very fortunate to be able to smoke, and enjoy, those rare cigars.
Couldn't happen to a better person.

Ahhh thanks for clarifying Ben! Definitely some nice looking smokes.

Sounds like your experience with the WCD Cabaiguans was very similar to mine in terms of the taste profile. I love these little guys. Glad it didn't suck.

Great review Ben, it sounds like an outstanding smoke. I searched Vitolas and couldn't find any mention on whether the blend was tweaked for WCD or not. Does anyone know if they altered the blend to make it more spicy for this special release?
