I was finally able to have a few minutes to sit down and smoke an unbanded cigar that Burnt Tongue sent me a few days back.
I had a nice cup of hot chocolate with this smoke. The cigar is a very dark maduro and was rolled very well into a nice Lonsdale. It smelled very rich with deep earthy tones. It burned and drew nicely and only needed a touch up once. A very tasty smoke that really reminded me of the five pack of Padron 2000 maduros that I smoked a little while ago. The flavor was a very nice balance of earthy tobacco with a hint of spice that left a very smooth and pleasant finish on my palate. I inhaled a little into my nose during the smoke and was surprised to find the bare scent of old flowers over the woody smoke from the cigar.
A really interesting cigar that I must say I’ve never had before. I think that the cigar might be a Camacho Maduro of some type, possibly the Cetros. A nice everyday cigar.
Thanks BT
