Okay, so chalk this question up to inexperience...
I've now seen 3 locations where Buena Vista's are massively discounted and I'm wondering what this means exactly. JR Cigars is now offering all vitolas at 19.99-29.99 prices for boxes of 10, and it seems like more and more places are selling out of their stock...
I know in 2014 it was announced that Buena Vista would be returning to the market, but what can you experienced cigar afficionado's tell me about this surplus pheonomenon?
Does this indicate they'll be releasing a new vitola and are selling out of the current stock? Or are they perhaps offering the current stock to retailers at a severe discount in an effort to generate buzz for the smokes again before releasing something new? What do you all take away from this? The prices are too similar to assume they're not being driven by something...
Thoughts?
