Box of Cigars in humidor?

Hi, I am new to forum and have a question. I am relatively new to cigars and purchased my first humidor. A 300 ct humidor so it is big and can hold cigar boxes. So I decided to keep the cigars that come in boxes inside the humidor and inside their boxes. I just received La Vieja Habana cigars (from CI) and they came in a box. But inside the box, the cigars were not wrapped in plastic but surrounded with what appears to be tobacco leafs or something like that. My question is should I store the box inside my humidor with those tobacco leaves surrounding the cigars? Thanks!

Or should I just keep the cigars out of the box inside my humidor? Is it not good to store boxes with cigars inside my humidor?

There's no problem with storing boxes inside your humidor as long as you've got the room. The additional tobacco protects them and should not be a problem.

Thanks! I have a digital hydrometer. What % should I keep the cigars at? Or what is a good range? I know 75 is max, but what is too low?

Lastly, is it ok to stack cigars ontop of each other? Even different brands?

Thanks for the help!

your RH (relative humidity) is really just personal preferance. most people like to store there cigars at about 67%..for me anywhere between there and 70 percent are good, since I live in the Damn Desert and cant be picky. Your humidity will directly affect the flavour of your cigar..especially when it is on the dry side...so stop opening the lid every half hour to check the RH!!!

(my biggest newbie mistake)

There are lots of threads here on how to store cigars, so search around some to find all the little ins and outs.

As for stacking them, it's totally fine as long as you keep the flavored sticks totally separate (ie,in a different humi) from your regular cigars. Also, I would not stack cigars with cellophane next to non-cello'd sticks, for protection reasons, but that may just be me.

Again, though, use the SEARCH feature on the site and you can't go wrong. You'll have more info than you can use in no time.
