Sitting here enjoying my after turkey drink and smoke.

A match made in heaven.

Bowmore Darkest. An Islay single malt that is not as peaty as most of its brethren. Finished in oak sherry casks. It is very smooth with a hint of fruity sweetness.

And a '26 Padron #9 Maduro. It is as good as its reputation. A strong smoke without a hint of bitterness. As smooth a smoke as you will find. Tons of smoke with as white of ash as I have ever seen that is 2 1/2 inches as I type.

Every now and then you run into a drink/smoke combo that blows you away. This is it.

Or maybe it is all the turkey I ate.

I hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

PS. I'll edit a more detailed review later. I just wanted to make a note in case I forget if I get to carried away with the Darkest :D :D

I was a #1 fan and now I think the #6's are my favorite tied with the #9's

PAM 26's are YUMMY
