I decided to smoke another young-yet-interesting Bolivar Petite Belicoso EL '09. I was a bit worried when I tried one a year ago and found them very blah. Six months later they had turned into a flavorful smoke!
They are still bursting with typical Boli spice and leather with a bit of cocoa on the finish. I enjoyed it enough to snap a couple pics and give my brief report. Draw was loose pre-light but perfect after lighting. Wrapper a bit rough but oily, dark, and inviting. Plenty of smoke and spice right off the bat. Leather develops after in inch and cocoa soon after. The last bit the flavor was subdued. More evidence it isn't really ready yet. But there's aging potential in this cigar, IMO.
Excuse the lousy pics.
