I'll preface this review with the fact that this again, is another fake ISOM cigar. It is illegal to smoke the real thing. This review is a little shorter than the others. I waited a couple days to write the review, and my honey was on the patio with me so I didn't take as careful notes.
Bolivar Belicosos Finos
Origin: You know
Size: 5 1/2 x 52
Campana often mistaken as a Pyramide
Smoke Time: 55 minutes

Look and feel: 92
Flavor and Aroma: 86

My rating: 87 to 88
The nose of this cigar smells of earth and sugar cane. The wrapper is a mottled brown with prominent veins, but not necessarily thick. The wrapper feels almost like paper. I sliced the cap with my xikar cutter and flipped the cap off. Unfortunately, the draw is very tight so I'm forced to make a cut. Even after the cut the draw is rather tight, so I use my xikar multitool which has pick in it and open up the draw. The prelight draw is earthy and almost gritty like very fine sand. I'm chalking this up to my poking the smoke to get it to draw better.
The light of the smoke brings creamy spice on the first draw. There's a touch of tang which I've noted in most cigars from this region. I'm thinking that this is an indication of some subtle flavors from this growing climate. The aroma of the smoke itself is wondferful and woody. My girl even mentioned that it didnt stink like other cigars have.
Through the first third brings flavors of leather and spice, still with the zing which doesn't quite sting, but can almost be tasted. There's a touch of saltiness to this smoke along with spice and cream. The second half brings flavors of fresh cut lumber with a touch of sweet and salt, similar to pumpkin spice. These flavors remain throughout the rest of the smoke.
I did enjoy this cigar, but I wasn't very keen on the draw. It was tight, even after giving it a good poke. Secondly the tangy zing on the end of the tongue seemed to feel like numbness, which on many smokes comes through as spice. This zing is a bit much at times during the smoke.
The overall feel of the smoke was very full and spicy. This isn't my favorite smoke from this region of the world.
