I tried the search and couldn't come up with anything so I thought I would ask if anyone here had any info on Blair cigars?

I was gifted one by a generous BOTL and I have not been able to find ANYTHING about these except that a cigar store in NY has them in their humidor.

I have a robusto vitola in natural wrapper. I can take a picture if anyone needs it.

Thanks for your help on this, it's been bugging me for a few months now.

Depending on the color of the label, it was introduced in either 95 or 96 during the cigar boom. The Blair Gold is the cigar that I saw most often and it sounds like the Rothschild vitola that you have in your hands. The Blair Gold Label (and the Silver for that matter) was discontinued around 2001 or 2002. If my memory serves me correctly, they were a medium-bodied smoke, with taste qualities similar to the Dominican La Gloria Cubana. The same type of profile...not the same taste.

Hope that helps. :)

Thanks! I was really beside myself as I'm usually pretty good with Google and the search tool here (thus my lack of posts) and I couldn't find ANYTHING about the actual cigar. The one I have is the gold label.

I guess I can rest easier now.
