I have a small humidor (10 by 12 by 5 deep- inches, not feet) and I am using a Paradigm 30 to keep the humidity up. I stays right around 67 to 70. My problem is I dont run the AC during the day when I am home and it never gets down to 70 degrees when I do run it. How can I keep the humidor temp down? I need something cheap. I didnt pay much for my humidor, but it does a pretty good job and has a good seal. I may upgrade in a year or so, but right now it fits my needs.
Thanks
Rob

IMO, there isn't any cheap way to take care of your investment...I've learned that. Being a frugal kinda guy (when it comes to suppliments), I tried to keep my humi cool by putting water into the A/T tubes from my Monte LCDA's and then JB welding the lids. Stuck them in the freezer, then into the humi. Only problem with that was all the condensation...you know, "sweat" on the tubes. I ruined about 15 good sticks finding that out.

Try going the Coolidor route. If you really need to cool it down, use the blue ice packs.

Just my $0.02

I find the best way to go about this is to check the "Humidor" section of the board!
