I have been getting a lot of emails and PM's about this, but I am going to have to pass on doing it at my house this year. The wife and I have decided that we will not be hosting the BBQIII this year and I think Erick's place is a great as long as we can bring the campers. Sorry guys but it's just one year we will try to host this thing next year. I need a break!

there are some hotels within 10-15 minutes in Kernersville.

I'm hoping that the change of location this year doesn't deter some of the regular attendee's from making it down. I really missed participating in the event last year, but I guess the wife being in labor with twins takes priority

Also, I know I mentioned having room for a camper, but I definitely won't be able to accomodate multiple campers. My yard would end up looking like the grass parking lot after the fair is in town otherwise :laugh: I may be able to handle a couple, but we shall see. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or just ask here.

Tubing seemed to be a big hit last year up at Dennis's place and there is a nice tubing river about 30 minutes from my place if anyone is interested in that. :thumbs:

I'm sure it's an all-that-can-make-it thing. As for Hotels (see Erick's post) I drove up to visit Erick not too long ago and I-40, just south of his place had a Holiday Inn and a few others that I passed only 1 or 2 exits from the turnoff to get to his place. It wasn't far at all. Having been by his place once, I can help lead the Convoy of Hotel-stayers up to the house from the interstate, if y'all'll have me....
