I was with a friend from work celebrating a promotion when the owner threw my tab on the table and said "your done here". I asked him why and he said that I had thrown up all over the bathroom. I had only had about 4 beers at the time and was eating from the buffet during while drinking. The owner said that the rent a cop for the building told him that she had seen me come out of the restroom when the mess was made and that I had done it. I told him that I was not intoxicated and she was mistaken. We than went to the rent a cop and she confirmed that it was me that made the mess. I was in a no win position so I said I would pay and leave. An A-hole bartender with the ponytail basically told my to F-off when he saw my Fraternal Order of Police shirt and added $20 to my tab. If I didnt pay the bill they could have called the police and put me in a akward no win situation, so I paid the tab and left.

Be advised that this place is not friendly to members of the Law Enforcement community, and they will impose their will against you if they wish. I was very reasonable with all the people involved and never raised my voice. The owner and the bartender were the aggressors during the entire incident. This is a shame due to the fact that it is one of the only smoker friendly establishments in Dallas. They even sell a selection of dog rockets in a glass case sitting on the bar.

I have the utmost respect for most law enforcement officials, but like anything else, there are exceptions. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not accusing you of being the exception, but I just have to ask the question:

Did you know Cuban cigars are illegal in the US, and if you did, why would you be in possession of them? Just a question!

I am not actually in possession of them as we speak. I just found them and once I found out what they were I dispose of them by burning them up.

I appreciate you standing on the moral high ground casting stones at my glass house. I guess I should just turn in my badge and lock myself up for treason.

I read somewhere the quote, " You are not supporting the economy for Fidel Castro, you are just burning his fields. " I respect an officer of the law for helping destroy the illegal contraband.......... ;)

As long as I can do my part I will destroy any cuban cigars I find. One at a time!

I forgot to mention to you Marty that I also drove 4mph over the speed limit today. I am a regualr Vick Mackey arent I.

Wow. I haven't seen someone fail at being clever this badly in quite a while.

The most important thing is that he was not born here. Anyone can become and American but you have to be born a Texan.

HHHOOOOOWWWWWDDDDDYY!

From the smog filled, congested, overpopulated metroplex of Texas!!!

I think the air must be pretty thin on the High Plains of Texas ...

HEY HEY... now just WAIT a minute. I live on the north side of Dallas (thanks for the heads up about the dive in the West End, by the way)
I'm originally from Lubbock, on the Caprock.. the air's not THAT thin over there, plus it's constantly being replenished from eastern New Mexico.
I think Marty's panties are just in a wad today. Hopefully he's not always like that. If so, he probably moved to West Texas from Canada, or France. :whistling:

from reading some of his previous post, he was born in New England. My wife is from Lubbock so I know there are alot of good people from there.

Maybe Mary is really Bobby Knight......Naw, couldnt be!
