B.B.S. does.....Reno...!

Ok guys, my youngest is turning 21 on this July 2nd. We talked it over, and figured it was a great excuse for a ROAD TRIP down to Reno...!!

We'll be arriving late afternoon on the first, staying at the Silver Legacy. I'd like to hit Fumare for an early evening smoke. We'll have dinner and wait until the magic midnight hour when the kid will be 21 and we'll have some fun then....

If I don't make it to Fumare on the first, we'll hit it on the second for sure. We'll be staying over on the second, leaving the morning of the third so I can make it home for a BBQ here on the 4th.

Anyone that wants to hook up for a smoke or a beverage, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my cell phone number.

Later this year, my wife and I may do just that. It's been a while since we've been to Vegas and I'm sure the casinos miss our money.....

Thank you for asking , Rob. LCpl Robert Larsen is doing very well in Camp Legeune, NC. He's never been deployed; worked as a "tracker" with the amphibs for several months and last month got transferred to the armory for six months. He's a USMC certified shooting coach, and he really enjoys his time in the armory and on the line, being a gun freak like his dad is.

All our prayers and best wishes to you guys in the sandbox. Keep your head down and your spirits high, my friend......:thumbs:

....and to clear up any confusion, LCpl Larsen is serving in Camp Legeune, and is well past the age of imbibement....

It's youngest son, Thomas Jr. that's about to cross the beverage and gambling admission threshold. TL JR is an aspiring chef working full time here in Vancouver towards that goal.

They are very different young guys and I'm very proud of them both. We sure have lots to talk about when we all get together.....:laugh:

Glad to hear he's doing well! 4 weeks and counting until I can sit on the back deck with a cigar and a dram.... but I'm not anxious or anything...
