Dustin, I'd love to join you all but workin' up here at West Point on a Monday requires me to stay late. I hope the New York City crew has a great time and enjoys Avo's company. I've had the oppurtunity to spend 2 birthday's with Avo at the Corona Cigar Company in Orlando while I lived down in Florida. He's a great piano player and his cigars as we all know are fantastic......... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
I attended his 80th in Milwaukee - what a great time with a bunch of great folks. This should be a "Do Not Miss" event!!! :thumbs:

Wish I was in NY!!! :(
 
I attended the one at the MAC in St. Louis last year. It was a great time and well worth the cost. I wasn't too crazy about the anniversary cigar, but other than that it was a blast.
 
Well guys, I just saw the weekly Davidoff newsletter and it states that it "Sold Out". Here the story:

MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2009 AVO DINNER – SOLD OUT!!!!
This year’s AVO dinner is sold out. The Limited Edition 2009 will be available for sale on Tuesday March 17. The Compañeros is fabulous. Packed in boxes of ten cigars, this 6x54 Super Toro sized cigar “delivers a uniquely robust flavor through the blending of specially fermented Ligero and Peruvian tobaccos. The wrapper is a Cuban seed, grown in Ecuador.” I’ve had the pleasure of smoking two of these cigars, the first on a recent trip to the Dominican Republic, and the second last week during a meeting at our corporate offices in Stamford, CT. Both were great. Both were dark, full bodied and wonderfully complex. Although I’ve enjoyed all of the AVO Limited Editions over the years… this one is truly different, and very special! Please call one of the stores to place your order. $160 per box of ten PLUS applicable taxes.

You guys might be able to attend Avo's 84th birthday next year if you don't procrastinate as you all have........ :D :thumbs: :p
