ONLY 75 OF THE THESE BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED ASHTRAYS WERE PRODUCED.
36 of the ashtrays were donated to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.

AND WE WERE ABLE TO GET OUR HANDS ON THE LAST 10!

If you love the Opus X, and come on, who are we kidding, then for you this is the perfect companion to the most perfect cigar ever created.

This definitely won't last long, and once they're gone, they're gone forever!

Have a great day!

P.S. PLEASE READ MY REPLY TO THE POSTS BELOW AT THE BOTTOM IN DEFENSE OF THE ATTACKS.... THANKS!!!

VERY cool looking. I've been collecting a few ashtrays lately too. A bit more than I'm gonna spend, but that being said, it's less than I thought it was going to be.

$200 seems a little high for that... You could look on ebay and find the nicer looking ones or get the casa fuente one for $60 or 80 I believe, but that's just MHO.

I'd like to know why he changed the name of his business THREE times in the last year.

First it was Cigar2U, then he reinvents himself as cigargoyle "the cigar smokin'g gargoyle" now he's going by papacigar.

This looks awfully shady to me and I will never do business with them.

Can someone please post the quick synopsis of the issue? Although a seller changing names three times in one year doesn't inspire confidence. And does anyone know the nature of how "limited" and extremely rare this ashtray is?

$200 seems kind of cheap for something that only 39 are available to the public, and only 10 from their site. I mean, the Dupont Opus X ashtrays are more than that, and they don't seem to be nearly that limited.

$0.02

I actually can't tell if the guy who is making claims about his credit card being compromised have any basis or not but you'll have to review it and decide for yourself.

I still would like to know why this guy changed the name of his company three times in the last year.

I remember checking his site out a while back and sure enough, someone's personal info was right there; name, addy, credit card info, phone #. In less than five minutes I saw his 'order' go from several hundred dollars to over $80K as people viewed the webpage and added to his order. I called the poor guy (using the # in his order) and told him what was going on.

This guy needs to be banned!

Guys,

I just checked out the thread on this vendor on CigarWeekly. It certainly does look bad for this company. Based on what has come public, I would not do business with this company when so many other trustworthy vendors are available such as Puffstuff, Cigarmony, TowerCigar, etc.

Wilkey

Not to mention the fact that the ashtray pictured doesn't exactly look like a museum piece. $200 does seem cheap for a limited Opus X ashtray, but then again, that doesn't look like a limited Opus X ashtray. Don't walk. RUN!

hmm I don’t know what’s on CW but I'll throw my 2 cents out there and say I did order from Cigargoyal once and everything worked out fine but that was just me. Things may have changed since then.

Wow.... pretty crazy words out there.

Here's the story:

Cigar2U was a popular cigar site, as many have known. It was hosted by a company called AdvancedEMedia.

When we first started Cigargoyle, we were looking for media companies that were familiar with the cigar business and we decided on Advanced EMedia to host our site. The platform template they use is identical, and therefore we ended up looking a lot like them, as much as we tried to change the colors and such, we still looked like them.

Then one day Cigar2u went out of business. Don't know what happened, the guys at Advanced EMedia siad they just shut down. More business for Cigargoyle right?

Well, months go by, a few people asked what was going on, why we looked like Cigar2u, etc. and we told them the truth.

Then, a new business shows up: ClubCohiba.com using Advanced EMedias platform and technology. I called them up and they are in fact "bought some of the assets" of the old Cigar2u, and they'll admit to it (at least that's what they said a few months ago)

THEN.... one day, the dust has settled on all this confusion with cigar2u and Cigargoyle and we get a "cease and desist" letter for Trademark Infringment. Apparently someone out there has trademarked the word Gargoyle as it relates to cigars and cigar accessories and therefore we are "confusingly similar" to the other company.

SO..... we changed our name to PapaCigar, which I can say that no one has yet trademarked as it relates to cigars and cigar accessories.

SO WE ARE NOT CIGAR2U.... that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Ted
