My new friend and BOTL sent me one of these bad boys. It has an Opus X wrapper with the VSG binder and filler. I smoked this while I was working today( sorry but that's the only time I have to smoke a good cigar). I started off a little weak but you kind of expect that from a cigar that's 3 years old. It had a very bad burn to start with but I evened it out with my torch and it burned evenly all the way down. Nothing but pure dark chocolate all the way down. I smoked it until I couldn't hold it any longer. One of the best cigars I've ever smoked. Moki, as I said in my PM you are truly the Sh!T. Oh where can I get some more of these?

Yeah,

Andrew certainly has a way of sending you just the right sutff to get you craving more. Waitaminnit! This guy's pushing the cigar-world equivalent of crack. :whistling: :D

Bad burn might have been because it was in transit, and ya only let it rest for a night.... not that I blame you. :)

VSG ERs are one of my favorite cigars... just an amazing taste. As for where to get more... there are no more. They made 200 humidors with 100 cigars in each humidor back in 2001... and that's it. No mas. The upcoming Ashton ESGs are a different cigar, a VSG guts with a Dominican (Chateau d'Fuente) sun grown corojo wrapper (same wrapper as is on the Forbidden X / CITB cigar, but a different cutting).

ahhhhhh, a cigar of this stature has to have time to settle into it's new environment after its travels :0

and IMO Age does not = weakness just my .02 cents
